Folder permission issues

If ChatFile asks you to restore permission, reconnect the project folder in the side panel. Browser or system cleanup can expire File System Access permissions.

Context or capture issues

Refresh the AI page, confirm ChatFile has site permission, and try the same action again before reporting the issue.

ChatFile is built for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers with Manifest V3, side panel APIs, and the File System Access API.

Supported AI sites

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Kimi, Qwen, GLM, Doubao, and similar sites can change; support may need updates when they do.
